1Information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver BibleToons and improve it for your family.
- Account info: parent name, email or phone, sign-in provider (Google, Apple, email).
- Kid profiles you add: nickname and age range — never last name, school, or precise location.
- Activity: which comics, audio stories, and videos a profile opens, plus completion progress, favorites, streaks, and XP.
- Device info: model, OS version, language, and crash diagnostics — used to fix bugs.
- Purchases: handled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. We see subscription status, not your card details.
2How we use the information
- Personalize the app — pick a kid hero, resume where you left off, surface favorites.
- Sync your progress between devices via Firebase.
- Send opt-in notifications: Daily Verse Bursts and Story Mission Alerts.
- Keep the app safe and stable, including blocking abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we don't show third-party advertising inside BibleToons.
3Children and parental consent
BibleToons is for kids 4–10 used with a parent or guardian. Only the parent creates the account and adds child profiles. By adding a child, you consent on their behalf to the limited data described above.
If you believe we've collected information from a child without your consent, email us and we'll delete it promptly.
4Where your data lives
- Authentication: Firebase Authentication.
- Profiles, favorites, activity history: Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud).
- Audio, video, and comic media: Firebase Storage / CDN.
- Subscription state: RevenueCat.
- Crash and performance diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics (when enabled).
All providers we use offer encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We follow the principle of least privilege — only signed-in users can read or write the documents tied to their own account.
5Sharing
We share data only with the service providers above, only as needed to run BibleToons, and only under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose information when legally required (for example, valid court orders).
6Notifications and tracking
Notifications are off by default. You'll see a priming screen explaining the value before any system permission appears, and you can toggle them anytime in Settings → Command Center.
We do not use cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers.
7Your choices and rights
- Edit or delete a kid profile from Profile → Edit Profile.
- Sign out anytime from Settings.
- Request a copy or full deletion of your account by emailing us.
- Cancel subscriptions through your App Store / Play Store account.
8Data retention
We keep account and activity data while the account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove personal information within 30 days, except for records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.
9International users
BibleToons is delivered from cloud regions that may be outside your country. Where local law requires extra protections (for example GDPR, UK GDPR, or regional children's laws), those rules apply.
10Changes and contact
If we update this policy materially, we'll show a notice in-app. For questions or to exercise any of your rights, write to tatosdeveloper@gmail.com — please include the email address tied to your BibleToons account so we can verify the request.
